SIDS and Kids WA provides bereavement counselling and loss and grief support to people affected by the death of a child from; miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, SIDS, accidents or any other cause of death.

Professional Counselling and Peer Support

We have extensive support services to assist families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child, during birth, pregnancy or infancy, regardless of the cause. Our professional team of counsellors provide a variety of grief support services including individual, couple and group counselling for adults, and individual and group counselling for siblings from the ages of three to twelve.

All these services are provided free of charge.

Grief Support Publications

In addition to these services, we can provide you with a variety grief support publications that can be borrowed from our library and a number of booklets that can be downloaded from our Grief Support Publications page. Our Parent's Stories and Between Friends Newsletter are written by bereaved parents in the hope that they may help others know that they are not alone.
