Parent's Stories

This page is dedicated to stories and poems written by bereaved parents to celebrate the lives of the babies or children they have lost, and to help them work through their grief.

Parents have agreed to have these stories and poems published on our web site in the hope that they may help others to know that they are not alone.

Stories for the Media

From time to time we need to get the message out about what we do, promoting safe sleeping, fundraising and doing research, and providing specialist bereavement services. There are so many charities making appeals over the year, newspaper articles, TV and Radio appearances are highly effective at raising the profile of this organisation.

To increase the meaning and experience behind the articles, journalists like to include real stories of real people. If you and/or your family are willing to take part in occasional media interviews to promote SIDS and Kids WA, please contact the office on 9474 3544 and speak to Dee or Stephanie.
