Professional Counselling
The SIDS and Kids WA Family Services team provides individual, couple and group counselling for adults, and individual and group counselling for siblings from the ages of three to twelve. Appointments may be made by ringing (08) 9474 3544 during office hours.
The Family Services Team offers a variety of grief support services to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child from conception onwards. These services are provided free of charge.

Support Meetings
SIDS and Kids WA coordinates and facilitates free self-help support groups for parents and family members. In an informal atmosphere, these regular support meetings provide bereaved people with an opportunity to share their experiences and to support one another. If you would like to know more about these group meetings please contact the office by email or phone (08) 9474 3544 during office hours.

This group is a place where parents who have gone on to have subsequent pregnancies after a loss, get together and share time, stories and their journey in a supportive and understanding environment. Parents, babies and toddlers are welcome.
Please bring a plate to share if you're having a good day, otherwise just bring yourselves.

This popular group is being restarted at the SIDS & Kids Office. It will be a combination of Peer Support (facilitated by a Counsellor or trained Peer Supporter) and the creation of a Memorial Scrapbook in tribute to your precious child. Sharing stories, smiles and tears as your unique book evolves from gathering and selecting just the right materials to honour your little one. Please bring all own materials. Morning tea provided.
Initially group will be held on, from there is potential to run an evening group on a Monday if there are enough people interested.
